Optimist Clubs are dedicated to "Bringing Out the Best in Kids, in their Communities, and in Themselves" and do their part through community service programs. Since each Club is autonomous and run by members in their community, Optimists have the unique flexibility to serve the youth of their area in any way they see fit. Optimist Clubs see a need in their community and react to it.
For over 25 years our Optimist Club has increased and maintained a membership of currently about 25-30. But with today's busier-than-ever schedules, and people moving around, we're in need of a handful of new members who would like to step in and give us a hand.

What can you do as a Optimist member?
- You can help us with support the JOI Team with the various programs, such as Oratorical/Essay they can enter.
- You can help us prepare, and help with the Christmas Party the various fund raisers, and other events.
- You can help launch new programs for kids. We are united in trying to make a difference, you can help make that difference!
- You can enjoy many interesting speakers and the comradery of other optimists at our twice a month lunch get-togethers.
